Where She At: Hudson Hill

Is there anything better than finding a new coffee shop, restaurant, or store? You’re not sure if you should keep it to yourself or tell errryone about it. Well, from time to time I’m going to share some of these gems I come across with y’all.

Yesterday I checked out a rad place in my neighborhood that I have been wanting to visit for a while now, Hudson Hill. It’s one of those awesome places that serves cofffee AND cocktails, the best of both worlds. You can even get a Cold Brew Negroni and make it a day. They also have wines and craft beer. Hudson has a cocktail called “Lady Belle” which mixes one of my favorite local breweries Our Mutual Friend’s Belgian Wit with gin and sour cherry jam. I mean come on. And you know I can’t forget about that snack life. They have bites like smoked bacon, olives and spicy pickled okra along with pastries.

With navy tile, greenery, and a big comfy leather bench the vibe is laid back enough to post up and check emails while sipping on an Americano but still sophisticated enough to meet your frans for some post-work cocktails. I recommend the Lavender Paloma which I will admit, with no shame, I could probably drink a pitcher of.

They have daily coffee and cocktail specials and a solid happy hour. Hudson just announced a Celebration of Summer farm dinner with Franca Food & Wine. It’s a four course dinner pairing in Longmont on August 3rd linked here for tickets.

I’m dang happy to have this hip little local spot in my neighborhood.

Check out their Instagram @hudsonhilldenver for daily specials and pictures of fancy cocktails staged next to killer albums. Or visit their website hudsonhilldenver.com.
